Resultaten fr\u00e5n studien visar att ingen ansamling av metall f\u00f6rekommer i lever, mj\u00e4lte, lungor eller hj\u00e4rna.<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>PharmaShell<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> utg\u00f6rs av skal av metalloxid (i det studerade fallet aluminiumoxid) som appliceras direkt p\u00e5 partiklar av l\u00e4kemedel och ger en helt t\u00e4t inneslutning av partiklarna. Detta kan ge m\u00f6jlighet till styrning av l\u00e4kemedelsfris\u00e4ttningen samt ett flertal andra f\u00f6rdelar.<\/p>\n<p>I kontakter med l\u00e4kemedelsindustrin har fr\u00e5gan rests om metall fr\u00e5n PharmaShell<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> anrikas i organ s\u00e5som lever, mj\u00e4lte, lungor eller hj\u00e4rna. F\u00f6r att verifiera att s\u00e5 inte \u00e4r fallet har v\u00e4vnadsprover fr\u00e5n kritiska organ tagits efter avslutad djurstudie och sedan analyserats med avseende p\u00e5 aluminium.<\/p>\n<p>Aluminiumniv\u00e5erna i organen hos r\u00e5ttor som f\u00e5tt PharmaShell<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> injicerat \u00f6verstig inte aluminiuminneh\u00e5llet i organen hos kontrollgruppen, d v s ingen anrikning av aluminium i organv\u00e4vnaden kunde p\u00e5visas.<\/p>\n<p><em>F\u00f6retagets VD David Westberg kommenterar<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Under produktutveckling av l\u00e4kemdel som bygger p\u00e5 nya drug delivery-system uppkommer ofta fr\u00e5gan om biodistribution, dvs om material fr\u00e5n drug delivery plattformen i sig, anrikas i vitala organ s\u00e5som lever, mj\u00e4lte, lungor och hj\u00e4rna.
