Nanexa granted patent in the USA

Nanexa AB (publ) today announced that the company has received a new patent in the USA. The newly issued patent (US 11,214,865 B2) relates to an ALD reactor adapted for large scale production of PharmaShell® coated drugs.

“This patent, which has already been granted in the UK (GB 2576851 B), is a good complement to our product and process patents for the drug delivery system PharmaShell®", says David Westberg, CEO of Nanexa.

ALD (Atomic Layer Deposition) is the chemical process Nanexa uses to produce the drug delivery platform PharmaShell®.
